DR.TAYLAN AKÇA

Dr. Taylan Akça was born in 1980 in Trabzon. He graduated from Trabzon Anatolian High School in 1998 and Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2004. After graduation, he started his specialty training at Başkent University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his rotation in the departments of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery at Başkent University Hospital in 2007, he presented his doctoral dissertation titled “The Effectiveness of Antibiotic Prophylaxis in Oral Tissues of Patients with Chronic Renal Failure”. He completed his education by receiving the title of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery specialist and doctor of science. He completed his military service in Diyarbakır Military Hospital in 2010 as a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He is a member of Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (TAOMS) and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Association (AÇBİD), Turkish Dental Association, Istanbul Chamber of Dentists. He served as the 16th Term Delegate of the Turkish Dental Association and continues to the same position in the 17th term. A member of the Young Dentists Commission of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists, Dr. Akça also provides dental implant training, especially to young physicians.

He is married to Oya Akça and has a daughter named Melis.

Dr. Akça and his team have been working in their clinics in Gayrettepe since 2010.
