Tooth Appearance and Restorative Treatments
Smile Planning
Smile planning is not a "treatment" in itself, but a planning process in which the patient's expectations are assessed together with the existing teeth, gums, bite and facial features. The aim is to create a balanced result with the most conservative options possible.

Frequently asked questions
Is smile planning a treatment?
It is not a treatment in itself, but a planning process in which the options are assessed together. The treatment to be carried out is determined for the individual.
Is a laminate needed in every case?
No. Bonding, orthodontics, whitening or doing nothing may also be options. The aim is the most conservative approach possible.
Treatment duration
Planning includes photograph analysis, a digital scan and, where needed, try-in stages. The duration of the treatments to be carried out varies with the option chosen.
When it may not be suitable
A restorative procedure is not required for every change in appearance; orthodontics, whitening or doing nothing may also be options.
